Diana Princess of Wales

15 years ago today I got a phonecall from my school friend Tenealle. I was 11 years old. We were discussing my birthday party which would be next week, I was turning 12! Clearly my family hadn't watched the news today so when Tenealle said how it was sad that Princess Diana was dead I didn't know what to think. I do remember getting off the phone quickly and informing my parents. We are big fans of the royal family. My parents quickly turned on the news and we found out that Diana had died in a car accident.

I can't imagine what Prince William and Prince Harry went through. It must be so terrible losing a parent, especially at such a young age. It really is no wonder that Prince Harry has been in so much trouble of the years.

I always thought (dreamed) that Diana would be my mother-in-law. I really wanted to be a princess and marrying Harry (who is one year older than me) seemed like an awesome idea when I was little.

I do feel very sorry for Diana. She went through so much. I don't think that Charles made the right choice in marrying Diana when he was inlove with someone else. It must have been a sad day when she realised this. I could write a thesis on this topic...

Almost Spring

It's almost Spring! I did do some spring cleaning today, I cleaned my son's room. I can't believe he is now 6 months old!

There are so many beautiful Camellias about - mainly pink ones, but a few white.

I need to re-do my nails. I usually go for my favourite red shade which is China Glaze 'Long Kiss'. It is a gorgeous deep garnet red with a metallic finish. I adore it.

It is amazing. I make most of my sons food. This way I know 100% what goes into his belly. It is so amazing and quite compact.

I did put on some makeup in the last month. I went out to a family so, I just went neutral. I guess I have changed alot, 2 years ago I wouldn't be caught dead not wearing makeup and would be wearing purples and blue and greens haha.

I do need to update more often... I always mean too but life gets in the way haha

RSPCA Cupcake Day

It was RSPCA Cupcake Day on Sunday. A friend of mine was selling boxes of cupcakes to raise money to donate. There was so many awesome flavours. I choose Red Velvet.

So far she has raised over $600, but she is planning one more baking day, hopefully getting over $1000! Now that is amazing (and a lot of cupcakes).

I got my adorable cat from the RSPCA, so I have a lot to thank them for :)

I just adore Kate Middleton, she really is everything that a princess ought to be.

I just love this photo of Wills and Kate and the Olympics, it's not often that they show so much PDA.

I do love brunette who wears red. Kate is wearing a lovely red blazer at the Games.

Once again, Kate is wearing a piece from Zara - most of her jeans are Zara. I think it's awesome that she buys "cheaper" brands.

Wish I could pull off a blazer...but I feel like I'm back in school were I had to wear one everyday...
